Haiti Relief!

Happy New Year! To kick off 2010, AMA is holding a fundraising concert in conjunction with the Canadian Red Cross, U of T Chapter, on Sunday, January 31st, 2010, in the Hart House Music Room (2nd floor) at 7 pm. Admission is as always, free, but donations to the Red Cross are encouraged! All proceeds will go toward disaster relief in Haiti and the devastated area around Port au Prince. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $10 or greater. If you wish to perform in this concert, please email Yuen at uoftama@gmail.com. Performers may play any song(s) on any instrument(s) of their choice, but please note that excessively loud music is not allowed in Hart House. The deadline to sign up for performance is Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010.

The AMA hopes that everyone had a fantastic summer! We are looking forward to resuming our monthly concerts in the coming year. Clubs Day was a great success and we thank everyone for coming out and showing interest! The next concert will be taking place sometime in the coming month, and we will be sending out the mailing list soon. Stay tuned!

BUSKING FOR CHANGE: WAR CHILD CANADA
War Child Canada is looking for buskers and performers to perform for their upcoming fundraiser. Musicians will be able to perform for the general public on September 29, 2009. For more information, please email war.child@utoronto.ca.
